Filler dissolving and correction in Udon Thani
It starts with an assessment, not more filler on top

Lumpy filler, filler that hasn't settled, filler that has migrated, or a face that looks overfilled: at Vinfinity Clinic in Udon Thani, the doctor first assesses what is causing the problem, then plans how to correct it.

Summary

  • Hyaluronic acid (HA) filler can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase, assessed and injected by a doctor.
  • Some non-HA fillers cannot be dissolved with enzyme, so tell the doctor what you had injected, where, and when.
  • If you have severe pain, skin that turns pale or develops a dark patch, or any vision problems after injection, see a doctor immediately.

Common filler problems

  • A lump you can feel or see Usually caused by injecting too superficially, or using a gel that doesn't suit the area.
  • A blue-grey tint under the eyes (Tyndall effect) Caused by gel sitting too close to the surface under thin skin.
  • A face that looks too full or puffy Especially when smiling, from too much volume or injection in the wrong layer.
  • Asymmetry, or gel that has moved out of place

How we correct it at Vinfinity Clinic

  1. History What was injected, how much, when, and whether you have any drug allergies.
  2. Assessment The doctor checks where the gel is and which layer it sits in, and distinguishes filler from fluid swelling or your own tissue.
  3. Planning Only the areas that need it are dissolved; there is no need to dissolve everything.
  4. Follow-up Once everything has settled, the doctor considers whether new filler should be placed in the correct layer.

Warning signs that need a doctor straight away

  • Pain that keeps getting worse after injection
  • Skin that turns pale white, develops a dusky net-like pattern, or darkens in a strip along a blood vessel
  • Blurred vision, abnormal vision or eye pain

These symptoms may signal a blocked blood vessel (vascular occlusion), which is rare but needs treatment as quickly as possible. Read more in our article on dermal filler safety.

Filler dissolving FAQ

Can every type of filler be dissolved in Udon Thani?

The enzyme only dissolves hyaluronic acid filler. Other types of filler need a different approach, so please tell the doctor what you had injected.

Does dissolving filler hurt?

It feels similar to a filler injection. There may be mild swelling or redness for 1–3 days.

How soon can I have filler again after dissolving?

In most cases you should wait about 2 weeks for the swelling to settle and the tissue to recover. The doctor will assess you again before any new filler.

I had filler elsewhere. Can Vinfinity correct it?

Yes. The doctor will take your history and assess you first. If you have details of the product or photos from before the injection, please bring them.

Will a filler lump go away on its own?

Some swelling or small lumps can settle on their own in the early period. If a lump lasts or becomes firmer, have a doctor assess it. Severe pain, or skin that turns pale or dusky in a streak, needs a doctor immediately.

Results vary from person to person, depending on skin condition and the doctor's clinical judgement. Every procedure can have side effects. Please consult a doctor before deciding.

Send the doctor a photo of the area that concerns you

Let us know what you had injected and when. The doctor will give you an initial assessment.
